Community Yard Sale
September 5, 2020
How To Participate in the Yard Sale:
• Yard Sale registration is first-come-first-served. Reservation forms can be mailed with payment
($25 per stall, cash or check) or turned in at check-in, but must be received to hold your place.
• Yard Sale setup starts at 6am and all vehicles must be in their assigned stall or parked in the
vendor parking area (inquire at the registration table) by 8:30am.
• When you arrive, park your vehicle in your assigned stall and setup your wares behind your
vehicle. If you choose to register the morning of the event, park your vehicle in the customer
parking area, and check in with yard sale staff. Morning-of registration is payable with cash only.
• Breakdown must be completed by 4pm.
Items Permitted For Sale:
• Used, yard sale-type items only.
• Prohibited Items:
Drugs, alcohol, weapons, ammunition, or fireworks
Food, beverages, plants, flowers, fruits, veggies, crafts, or other farmers market products.
Franchise operations or professional services
Yard Sale Location & Setup:
The Yard Sale will be held during the Saturday Farmers Market at Peninsula Gardens
(5503 Wollochet Dr NW, Gig Harbor.) in the front parking lot. There are 14 stalls
available. Stalls are one standard parking stall (approximately 9’x18’). All merchandise
must fit within your stall. No Oozing, No Exceptions.
All tables, chairs, etc must be provided by the vendor. No electricity is available.
General Guidelines & Policy:
We have a “Rain or Shine” policy and do not provide refunds for any vendors.
If you plan to use a canopy in your stall, it must fit within your stall space and have no less
than 25lbs of weight per leg. No weights, no canopy.
All items in your stall space must be removed at the end of the day (unsold items, garbage,
etc). Garbage cans are for customers only.
Be respectful of your fellow vendors and the market staff.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own insurance if desired and completing a free
application for a temporary Washington State Business License, good for up to 2 sales
events per year in Washington State.
We reserve the right to reject any vendor or items for sale for any reason, at any time, with
or without notice.
